Berchtesgaden (IBSF) The IOC Winter Sports Department, represented by the Head of Winter Sports Irina Gladkikh and Kristin Brynildsen, recently met with the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF) and the International Luge Federation (FIL) for a one-day operational preparatory meeting for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics.
The meeting was hosted by the FIL in its newly opened headquarter in Berchtesgaden. IBSF was represented by Secretary General Heike Groesswang, Assistant to Secretary General Raik Bauerfeind and Sports Secretary Martin Kerbler. During the valuable presentation topics such as arrival and departure, transport and logistics, opening and closing ceremonies, sports entries and medical issues were discussed in details.
