Sochi (RWH) The Sanki Sliding Center, icetrack of the 2014 Sochi Olympics, was venue for the 2018 Russian Bobsleigh & Skeleton Championships.

The Skeleton titles went to Elena Nikitina and Alexander Tretiakov. Renata Khuzina in second and Junior World Champion Yulia Kanakina in third captured the women’s podium placings. At the men‘s race, PyeongChang Olympic silver medallist Nikita Tregubov finished second ahead of Vladislav Semenov.

In Women’s Bobsleigh, the teams of Alexandra Rodionova and U23 European Championships silver medallist Lubov Chernykh tied for the title. Polina Nazaruk, who won silver at the U23-World Championships 2018, finished third.

Alexander Kasjanov captured the national title in 2-Man and 4-Man Bobsleigh, the podium placings in Sochi went to Alexey Stulnev and Maxim Andrianov, respectively. ©RWH2018
