Buenos Aires (RWH) Ivo Ferriani, President of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF, is the new winter sports representative on the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Ferriani was proposed for the position in April by the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federation's (AIOWF) General Assembly. The IOC members at the 133rd General Assembly in Buenos Aires (ARG) now ratified the decision and elected the Italian as member of the IOC Executive board „with a view to representing the interests of the Olympic Winter International Federations“. He will serve a mandate of four years.
