Mercedes Schulte wins Silver, Kelsea Purchall Bronze

Lillehammer (RWH) At the first olympic monobob race in Lillehammer the medals of the women event went to Germany, Austria and Great Britain. 15 young athlets of nine different nations took part at this premiere during the Youth Olympic Winter Games (YOG).
YOG gold went to Laura Nolte (GER), who won both OMEGA IBSF qualification races in Lillehammer. Mercedes Schulte from Austria, former karate athlet, won silver, bronze went to Kelsea Purchall (GBR), she was the Overall Champion of Qualification series.
