Winterberg (RWH) Bennet Buchmüller from Germany is the Junior World Champion 2017 in Four Man Bob. In Winterberg (GER), the 24 years old and his push athletes team Benedikt Hertel/Niklas Scherer/Costa Tonga Laurenz banned his teammates Christoph Hafer/Michael Salzer/Paul Krenz/Markus Reichle (GER) to silver. Junior World Championships Bronze went to Russia’s Dmitry Popov/Andrey Kazantsev/Ivan Kardankov/Mikhail Mordasov.
All current Junior World Champions are qualified to start at the BMW IBSF World Championships Bob + Skeleton 2017 in Königssee (13.-26. February 2017).
In U23 ranking, gold welt to the Russian team with pilot Dmitry Popov ahead of Aleksandr Bredikhin/Rostislav Gaitiukevich/Vladislav Zharovtsev/Sergei Sysoev (RUS). Mihai Christian Tentea from Romania, who finished fourth in the Monobob at the 2016 Youth Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, with Dobre Raul Constantin / Ionel Cojan / Andrei Alexandru Bugheanu won Four Man Bob bronze in the U23 ranking. ©RWH2017
