Lake Placid (RWH) 2012 World Skeleton Champion Katie Uhlaender captured a pair of victories in the first two races of IBSF Intercontinental Cup 2015-2016, her first international competitions since the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, when she finished fourth. In Lake Placid (USA), the 2007 and 2008 Overall World Cup Champion banished Anna Fernstädt from Germany and US teammate Savannah Graybill in first race and in second race Megan Henry (USA) and Canadian Lanette Prediger to rank two and three, respectively.
First men’s skeleton race won Germany’s Alexander Gassner followed by teammate Martin Rosenberger and US racer Kyle Brown. Rosenberger then won the second race with Gassner and Brown finishing second and third. ©RWH 2015-2016
