Calgary (RWH) Dakarai Kongela and Mystique Ro are the 2017 USA Skeleton National Push Champions, as the federation USA Bobsled & Skeleton (USABS) announced in a press release in Calgary (CAN). The push championships took place in Calgary's Indoor Ice House.
Dakarai Kongela, who switched over to skeleton prior to the 2016-2017 season, successfully defended his title in men’s skeleton. Rookie Chris Strup finished second ahead of Austin Florian.
On the women's side, Mystique Ro, who is entering her first full season competing in skeleton, edged out former push champions Megan Henry and Kristen Hurley.
