What’s your next/biggest goal in your sport?
One of my goals is to figure out Kreisel in Altenberg. That is one of the hardest turns on a skeleton in my opinion.
What did you think after your very first bobsleigh/skeleton ride?
I switched from bobsled to skeleton after a couple years as a bobsled pilot. My first skeleton run I had no nerves, because bobsledders say: Skeleton, pff, that's easy! After one run I figured out it was not. And that second run was absolutely terrifing. But it got better once I got the hang of the sled. And now it is lots of fun.
What is your biggest sliding achievement so far?
Competing at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games as the first skeleton athlete for the Netherlands in history.
