Dear sports friends,
it is a great pleasure for me to update you about the status of implementation of our Federation’s roadmap.
After a very interesting post-Olympic season 2018/2019, which confirmed the positive trend of sports activities at a high level and the development of our Federation, we are preparing for a period of intensive internal activity for new sports projects that will shape the near future.
The first of these is the introduction of the Women‘s Monobob into the Olympic Program, which, as part of our resolute action to promote gender equality, will reconcile the medal opportunities for the Women‘s Program with those of the Men‘s Program, but above all will breathe new life into the training of new female pilots, who will soon be enriching the two-woman bob discipline.
True to our motto „slide into the future“, we will start with the introduction of new technical sports formats, such as the „reaction start“, with the aim of attracting even more spectators.
Our chameleon-like flexibility is our strength, and thanks to the cooperation of all - athletes, technicians and officials - we will achieve great results.
The Paralympic Program will continue to be a pillar of our Federation, with the declared aim to obtain the IPC recognition for inclusion in the Paralympic Program.
I’d like to express special thanks to the operators of our tracks for their commitment in supporting the competition activities, but above all the development programs for the new generations of athletes. The tracks are the heart of our sport.
