Logo BMW IBSF World Cup
Altenberg (RWH) When the bobsleigh and skeleton World Cup opens in Altenberg this winter, followers will notice several changes. BMW (automotive) has moved from the Main Sponsor to the Title Sponsorship for the Bob + Skeleton World Cup as of this season – having had this role for the World Championships already last year.

A new IBSF World Cup logo was also developed in this context by Infront Sports & Media, the IBSF media and marketing partner. “Infront is a partner that cannot only support us in increasing our media and marketing impact, but also in strengthening the overall profile of our events and reach out to new target groups. For the upcoming season, we have jointly optimised the appearance of the IBSF and our events on all ends – including a new brand presence, an enhanced digital presence and our high level TV product. We look forward to opening the new online portal for international bobsleigh and skeleton fans these days.”, said IBSF President Ivo Ferriani.

The website of the winter sports federation was completely revamped in the run-up to the season by Infront and IBSF. Based on a fully mobile responsive design, the new digital presence is set to increase engagement with new audience groups. It goes live on 26 November with a new look, more information, and improved navigation. The website starts with the English version, all news are also available in German. Check out for news, results and statistics, the latest from Facebook, Twitter and co., and comprehensive information on all of the athletes as well as the bobsleigh and skeleton disciplines themselves. The website also hosts a live ticker and live stream for all of the BMW IBSF World Cup and BMW IBSF World Championships races.

The implementation of this World Cup logo is part of the new IBSF communication strategy with the naming change of the Federation into IBSF, last June approved during the last Congress, along with a new logo developed by dutch based company Creative Animal.
