Codie Bascue wins in four man bob
Lake Placid (RWH) Skeleton pilots Veronica Day from USA and Ander Mirambell from Spain are the Overall Champions of IBSF North American Cup 2015/2016.
With six podium placings, Veronica Day (435 points) relegated Jaclyn Laberge (CAN, 410 points) to second rank. The Canadian was in the lead with two victories and four second placings, but missed the last two races. Overall third is Korean rookie pilot Rayoung Mun (341) ahead of Netherland’s Kimberly Bos, who won the last four races.
In men’s skeleton ranking, the overall victory went to Ander Mirambell from Spain (411 points), who won five of the six races he took part. Alex Ivanov from USA (403) finished second ahead of John Farrow (AUS, 380).
In four man bob, US pilot Codie Bascue with two victories and four more podium placings earned 652 points to win the overall ranking. Two Man Overall Champion Nick Poloniato from Canada (498) finished second ahead of Youngjin Suk from Korea (436). ©RWH 2015-2016
