Seoul (RWH) President Yang-ho Cho of the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG) is stepping down from his position with immediate effect. That was announced in a POCOG press release.
Cho took up the position as President of POCOG in August 2014 but, according to the release, now decided to focus his efforts on serving as chairman of the Hanjin Group for the restructuring and stabilization of Hanjin Shipping.
“Mr.Cho has been leading POCOG excellent in the past two years – there has been a very good cooperation between POCOG and our Federation", stated IBSF President Ivo Ferriani. "We have no doubt that POCOG will continue the positive partnership until the Games.” RWH2016
