Orlando (RWH) With three victories, the para athletes of International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF finished the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando (USA). Mark Urquhart from Australia, Fourth at 2016 Para-Bobsleigh World Championships, in his track & field category won the 100, 200 and 400 meter dash and finished second at 1500 meter. In Inddor Rowing, Mark Urquhart finished fourth.
Corie Mapp from Great Britain, who was the first ever World Cup winner in Para-Bobsleigh in December 2014 and second in 2016 Overall World Cup, finished sixth at 100 meter. Brendan Dover from Australia, World Championships bronze medallist in Para-Skeleton, came in sixth at the 400 meter race.
The invictus games ointend to use the power of sport to inspire recovery and support rehabilitation of wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women. In Orlando, athletes from 15 nation took part.
