IOC Executive Board to propose IBSF president Ivo Ferriani as IOC member
"This is a great honour for me and for my federation", said Ivo Ferriani. "It is a result of the good work of IBSF and of our good cooperation with the IOC."
“These eight candidates that we are proposing to the next IOC Session are a strong and varied group of individuals that are experts in their respective fields and will make great contributions,” said IOC President Thomas Bach. “They have been vetted by new criteria in keeping with the recommendations of Olympic Agenda 2020. These candidates will add extra strength and diversity to our already universal orchestra of IOC Members.”
For the IOC, Ivo Ferriani since several years is member of Commissions and Working groups, currently the IOC Sustainability and Legacy Commissions, the IOC Coordination Commission Beijing 2022 and the IOC Olympic Winter Games Strategic Review Working Group.
