The disabled bobsleigh and skeleton athletes compete in six races to IBSF Para-Sport World Cup in the USA (race 1 + 2 in Park City, 15-23 November 2016), Norway (race 3 + 4 in Lillehammer, 15-21 January 2017) and Germany (race 5 + 6 in Oberhof, 23-28 January 2017). Highlight of the season for the Para-athletes are the IBSF Para-Sport World Championships 2017 (29 January-5 February 2017) on the Olympia Bobrun St. Moritz-Celerina in Switzerland.
At IBSF Intercontinental Cup Skeleton, IBSF North American Cup and the IBSF Europe Cup Bob and Europe Cup Skeleton, there are eight races each in the 2016-2017 winter. Overall, the IBSF athletes compete on ten different tracks in six countries.
The young bobsleigh athletes compete for gold, silver and bronze medals at IBSF Junior World Championships 2017 in Winterberg (GER, 27.-29. January 2017), the IBSF Junior World Championships Skeleton 2017 take place at the same time (24.-28. January 2017) in Sigulda in Latvia. ©RWH2016
