Madrid (RWH) 300 hours of coverage from the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro the Olympic Channel plans to present over the next eleven days. That was announced in an Olympic Channel press release. The Olympic Channel’s daily coverage from Rio de Janeiro will be available in 162 territories and includes events and highlights shows, and concludes with the Closing Ceremony on 18 September.

More than 4,300 athletes from 159 countries will compete in 528 medal events in 233 different sports in Paralympic sport’s premier event. In addition to event coverage, the Olympic Channel is on the ground in Rio to capture the behind the scenes coverage and conduct athlete interviews to develop complimentary content in support of the Paralympic Movement.
