Mamaia (RWH) Skeleton pilots Maria Marinela Mazilu and Mihail Daniel Enache from host nation Romania and bobsleigh pilot Dominik Dvorak from Czech Republik in Two Man Bob are the 2016 IBSF Push World Champions.
Maria Mazilu won the Women‘s Skeleton competition at the IBSF Summer Push World Championships in Mamaia, a famous holiday resort at the Romanian Black Sea coast. Sandra Andriainen from Sweden finished second to win the silver medal, bronze went to Joska le Conte from the Netherlands.
All three medals in Men‘s Skeleton went to host nation Romania: new Push World Champion is Mihail Enache, who clocked the fastest overall time ahead of teammates Mihai Pacioianu who won silver, and bronze medallist Dorin Velicu.
Czech duo Dominik Dvorak/Jakub Havlin won Push World Championships gold in Two Man Bob, followed by Germanys Pablo Nolte/Christopher Weber and Oridlei Pessoni/Rafael Souza from current Olympic host nation Brazil.
