Bath (RWH) The British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association (BBSA) has announced the athletes for the BMW IBSF World Cup 2016-2017. 14 men and six women will compete in the race series, starting on December 2-3 in Whistler (CAN).
Men’s Bobsleigh World Cup pilots are Lamin Deen, Brad Hall and Bruce Tasker, with John Baines, Sam Blanchet, Greg Cackett, Joel Fearon, Tremayne Gilling, Mark Lewis-Francis, Andrew Matthews, Ben Simons and Judah Simpson as push athletes. Women’s bobsleigh pilot Mica McNeill will be joined by brakewomen Montell Douglas, Anya Kay and Mica Moore.
Dom Parsons and Jack Thomas are the British Skeleton Men's World Cup squad. In women’s skeleton World Cup, Laura Deas will compete alongside Olympic Champion Lizzy Yarnold, who makes a comeback after a one season break. ©RWH2016
