Königssee (RWH) IOC president Thomas Bach has awarded the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF with the „The sky is the limit“-Statue. Bach presented the gold-covered  bronze statue to IBSF president Ivo Ferriani during the BMW IBSF World Championships 2017 at Königssee (GER).
The statue is a recognition for achieved success and an encouragement for future development. "We are very proud tob e awarded this exceptional IOC statue from president Thomas Bach personally" said IBSF president Ivo Ferriani. "The sky is the limit" reflects on our federation and our athletes. We owe this IOC recognition to our athletes and our officials.“
IOC President Thomas Bach attended the BMW IBSF World Championships Bob + Skeleton 2017 at the finals in women’s skeleton. He presented the awards to World Champion Jacqueline Lölling (GER), silver medallist Tina Hermann (GER) and bronze medallist Lizzy Yarnold (GBR), the 2014 Olympic Champion. ©RWH2017
