Salt Lake City (RWH) In memory of Steven Holcomb and Charlie Booker, followed by a minute of silence, President Ivo Ferriani opened the 2017 Congress of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF: „Nothing we can say can adequately express the pain we feel remembering these two outstanding friends and members of our familiy“, Ivo Ferriani said at the beginning of his opening speech in Salt Lake City.
„Steven has been an example of how one can be a great champion, but yet a humble and deeply human person. Charlie has bequeathed an immense quantity of marvelous images imbued with love for our athletes and our sport. Rest in Peace, dear friends, and heartfelt thanks for everything you gave us.“
