PyeongChang (IBSF) The homologation process of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF for the Olympic icetrack at Alpensia Sliding Center is successfully completed. On the occasion of the 9th IOC Coordination Commission Meeting in PyeongChang/Korea, IBSF President Ivo Ferriani took the opportunity to conduct the last inspection on the host venue for Bobsleigh and Skeleton competitions at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
During an official ceremony, the IBSF Homologation Certificate was handed over to the President of POCOG, Mr. Hee-boem Lee in attendance of the IOC Sports Director Kit McConnell.
