Victories for De Bruin, Spring, Vathje, Greszczyszyn and Rooney

Whistler (RWH) Bobsleigh pilots Christine de Bruin and Chris Spring and Skeleton athletes Elisabeth Vathje, Dave Greszczyszyn and Patrick Rooney are the winners of the first round of evaluation races for the Canadian National team. This was announced on the federation Bobsleigh Canada Skeletons Facebook page.
In Calgary, Christine de Bruin won the competition in women’s bobsleigh, Chris Spring clocked the best times in 2-man and 4-man bobsleigh, respectively. The Candian skeleton athletes competed in two evaluation races In Whistler. Elisabeth Vathje won both women’s competitions, the victories in men’s skeleton went to Dave Greszczyszyn and Patrick Rooney.
The evaluation races in Canada for the BMW IBSF World Cup in the Olympic season and the other IBSF race series continue this week. ©RWH2017
