PyeongChang (RWH) For the second International Training Period (ITP) the athletes of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF come to the Alpensia Sliding Center in PyeongChang (KOR). From October 22-28, the bobsleigh and skeleton athletes kick-off the Olympic season with seven days of training on the 2018 Olympic icetrack.

Track walks and up to twelve training runs for each athlete are scheduled for the week. The two training groups will be drawn at the first Team Captain ́s Meeting on October 21.

After the ITP, the IBSF race season starts in the Olympic winter, kicking off with the North America Cup and the Intercontinental Cup in Whistler (CAN). The BMW IBSF Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Cup starts on November 9/10 in Lake Placid (USA). ©RWH2017
