Lausanne (RWH) The International Olympic Committee (IOC) launched the new brand campaign “Become The Light”. As the IOC announced in Lausanne, the campaign aims to promote the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect and encourage people to get active and share their activity through the Olympic Channel.
The IOC works with the Rights Holding Broadcasters around the globe to spread this message through a series of Public Service Announcement films that embolden the Olympic values and ideals. Watch it here!
Additionally, the IOC partners with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to bring sustainable, solar powered lighting solutions to refugee camps. “9 out of 10 refugees in camps live with no access to light”, it is said in the IOC information. As this affects their lives by holding down social interactions, education and physical activity, the IOC encourages everyone to sign up at www.olympicchannel.com/light, exercise and donate their physical activity to fulfil goals for lighting a refugee camp.
