Monaco (RWH) H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco, Sovereign Prince of the Principality of Monaco and five times Olympian as bobsleigh pilot under his familiy name Grimaldi, celebrates his 60th birthday on 14 March 2018.

Albert II competed for Monaco in five consecutive Winter Olympic Games - 1988 in Calgary (CAN), 1992 in Albertville (FRA), 1994 in Lillehammer (NOR), 1998 in Nagano (JPN) and 2002 in Salt Lake City (USA)) – and was the Monaco flag bearer in 1988, 1994 and 2002.

In 2012 at the first edition of the Youth Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck, Monaco celebrated the first Olympic medal for his country, when pilot Rudy Rinaldi and brakeman Jeremy Torre won bronze in the 2-Man Bobsleigh.

Prince Albert II is Member of the International Olympic Committee IOC since 1985, Chairman of the IOC Sustainability and Legacy Commission and the President of the Fédération Monégasque de Bobsleigh, Luge et Skeleton. @RWH2018
