Riga (RWH) Ten bobsleigh and skeleton athletes from Latvia are in the highest national funding level “A” for the coming 2018/2019 winter season. As the Latvian National Federation announced on bobslejs.lv, the Latvian Olympic Committee gives the maximum funding amongst others to 2-man bobsleigh Olympic bronze medallists Oskars Melbardis/Janis Strenga, Skeleton World Champion Martins Dukurs and 2016 Junior World Champion and 2018 Olympic seventh Lelde Priedulena (womens skeleton).
Altogether, 20 Latvian bobsleigh and skeleton athletes get national funding. ©RWH2018

Bobsleigh - Oskars Melbārdis, Daumants Dreiškens, Arvis Vilkaste, Jānis Strenga, Oskars Ķibermanis, Matīss Miknis und Helvijs Lūsis,
Skeleton - Martins Dukurs, Tomass Dukurs und Lelde Priedulēna
B-Squad:
Bobsleigh - Jānis Jansons, Raivis Zīrups, Dāvis Spriņģis und Ralfs Bērziņš,
Skeleton - Krists Netlaus
C- Squad:
Bobsleigh - Kaspars Brezinskis, Māris Priekulis und Dāvis Kaufmanis,
Skeleton - Dārta Zunte und Endija Tērauda.
