Lausanne (RWH) Active and retired athletes of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF are called upon to run for the forthcoming elections to the IBSF Athlete Advisory Committee. The IBSF National Federations must submit the nominations by e-mail to the IBSF by November 17, 2018 inclusive.

The Athletes' Committee consists of six members: one each for the disciplines Bob Women, Bob Men, Skeleton Women, Skeleton Men and Para-Sport. A male or female athlete from one of the disciplines - retired within the last five years to the election - may apply as chair. Candidates must be over 18, have had or currently hold an IBSF license, and have participated in IBSF competitions.

Interested athletes should submit a CV and motivational letter (up to 500 words) to their National Federation in time for the deadline for forwarding.

The Athletes' Committee for the term until 2022 will be elected by the IBSF athletes from 9 to 16 January 2019 in the first race of each race series during this period. The results will be available no later than ten days after the last vote.
