Winterberg (RWH) German Bernhard Lehmann (GER), 1976 Olympic Champion pushing the 4-mab bob of pilot Meinhard Nehmer, celebrates his 70th birthday on November 11.

Bernhard Lehmann won three more Olympic medals as bobsleigh pilot for the then GDR (Silver 1984 in 2-man and 4-man Bobsleigh, Bronze 1988 in 2-man Bobsleigh) and was 1985 World Champion in 4-man Bobsleigh. As a coach, Bernhard Lehmann worked, amongst others, with 2006 Women’s Bobsleigh Olympic Champion Sandra Kiriasis, the German Bobsleigh head coach René Spies and skeleton athlete Jacqueline Lölling, who won Olympic Silver in PyeongChang 2018. ©RWH2018
