Oberhof (RWH) Laura Nolte (2-woman Bobsleigh), Johannes Lochner (2-man Bobsleigh), Richard Oelsner (4-man Bobsleigh), Susanne Kreher (Women's Skeleton) and Fabian Küchler (Men's Skeleton) are the German Push Champions 2019. This was announced by the German federation BSD (Bob- und Schlittenverband für Deutschland). Venue for the competitions with international participation was the ice start facility of the Oberhof sliding track. According to the organizers, around 500 spectators attended the first ice competition of the season.

Youth Olympic Champion Laura Nolte teamed up with push athlete Deborah Levi to win the title ahead of Olympic Champion Mariama Jamanka with Kira Lipperheide and Kim Kalicki / Viktoria Dönicke. Faster than the three German duos, however, was 2018 Junior World Champion Andreea Grecu (ROU) with Ioana Gheorghe. The Romanians won the International Start competition ahead of Nolte and Jamanka.

In 2-man Bobsleigh, the title went to Johannes Lochner / Christopher Weber ahead of Olympic and World Champion Francesco Friedrich with Alexander Schüller. Philipp Zielasko / Malte Schwenzfeier finished third.

Junior World Champion Richard Oelsner and his team were the fastest in the 4-man Bobsleigh. Pilot Hans-Peter Hannighofer finished second, third place went to Philipp Zielasko.

In the Skeleton competitions, two junior athletes won the titles with Susanne Kreher in the women's event and Junior World Championships silver medallist Fabian Küchler in Men’s Skeleton. Second places, respectively, went to World Championships bronze medallist Sophia Griebel and Dominic Rady, World Champion Tina Hermann and Alexander Gassner finished third.
