Park City (RWH) The OMEGA IBSF Youth Series has come to an end in Park City (USA) with the last two out of eight monobob and skeleton races. The points for the best four races of the overall ranking will be counted for the IBSF Youth Ranking to allocate the quota places for the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG, January 9 - 22, 2020) in Lausanne.

The respective National Olympic Committees now have until 11 January to confirm their quota places. Unused spots are reallocated according to fixed criteria. Which athletes exactly will compete at the Winter Youth Olympic Games 2020 will be announced on 16 December.

A total of 40 skeleton and 36 monobob athletes are eligible to compete at the YOG races, with gender equality in both sports. The Monobob and Skeleton races are scheduled for January 19 and 20 at the famous natural sliding track Olympia Bobrun St. Moritz-Celerina. ©RWH2019
