Three race days, 15 races in Park CIty

Park City (RWH) Athletes from four nations lead the IBSF North American Cup ranking after the second stop of the series in Park City (USA). Three race days with three races in each of the five disciplines lay after the athletes, track crew and staff.

In 2-man and 4-man Bobsleigh, Canada’s Taylor Austin was victorious in all Park City races and took the lead in both discipline rankings.

Winner of the 2-woman Bobsleigh races and current NAC leader is US pilot Kristi Koplin. Kori Hol from Canada is second ahead of teammate Melissa Lotholz (CAN), who won 2016 and 2017 World Championships silver as push athlete with pilot Kaillie Humphries.

Yanqi Zhu from the coming Olympic host nation China leads the Women’s Skeleton ranking after capturing all three victories in Park City. Eunji Kim from Korea is second overall ahead of US athlete Lauren Mc Donald. Katie Tannenbaum, Skeleton athlete from the US Virgin Islands, finished second in the third of the Park City races and celebrated her first ever podium place in an IBSF race.

Leader in Men’s Skeleton is Nathan Crumpton. The former US athlete is now racing for American Samoa. The 35-years-old was on top of the podium on all three Park City races to capture his first ever victories. Second overall is 2016 overall winner Ander Mirambell from Spain ahead of China’s Zheng Yin. ©RWH2019
