Netstal (RWH) With two former bobsleigh pilots the national federation Swiss Sliding is strengthening its organisational structure. Fabienne Meyer, European Champion in 2014 and Junior World Champion in 2008, will become Head of Sport for all disciplines at Swiss Sliding, succeeding René Zwicky.
Rico Peter, among others 2016 World Championships bronze medallist and fourth at the 2018 Olympics in the 4-man bob, will be responsible for the sport of bobsleigh as head of the division.
Both newcomers to Swiss Sliding also have international experience as bobsleigh coaches: Fabienne Meyer was track coach in Great Britain from 2015 to 2017, Rico Peter supported the South Korean team as track coach in the 2018/19 season. ©RWH2020
