St. Moritz (RWH) The bobsleigh and skeleton sport mourns Dumeng Stuppan. The Swiss, who was an official at the Olympic Bobrun St. Moritz Celerina and the Saint Moritz Bobsleigh Club (SMBC) for over 40 years, passt away on 16 November at the age of 71.

Dumeng Stuppan worked and helped during the bobsleigh and skeleton races at the Olympia Bobrun since the 1970s and was a familiar face for generations of athletes, coaches and teams.

"Our Honorary Life Member, silent and tireless helper of our club as well as long-time loyal friend Dumeng Stuppan unexpectedly passed away yesterday", the SMBC wrote on Facebook. "Thank you for the wonderful memories we have shared and for all that you have done over the years for the SMBC and your beloved bobsleigh sport.“
