Altenberg/Innsbruck (RWH) Corinna Leipold (GER, women's skeleton), Matt Weston (GBR, men's skeleton) and Michael Kuonen (SUI, 2-man bobsleigh) won the IBSF Europe Cup races in Altenberg (GER) and Innsbruck (AUT).

In Altenberg, Corinna Leipold (GER) celebrated her first victory of the season in women's skeleton ahead of teammate Stefanie Votz. Kimberley Bos, currently second overall in the BMW IBSF World Cup, finished third on the track in Altenberg that will also host the BMW IBSF World Championships in February 2021.

Matt Weston (GBR) won the IBSF Europe Cup in men's skeleton. For the Briton, who had finished second at the BMW IBSF World Cup in Innsbruck in December, it was the first victory in an IBSF race. Second place in Altenberg went to Youth Olympic Champion Lukas Nydegger (GER) ahead of Jerry Rice from Great Britain.

The IBSF Europe Cup Bobsleigh in Innsbruck (AUT) started with the first race in 2-man bobsleigh. Switzerland's Michael Kuonen won here with Marco Tanner as push athlete ahead of the German duo Philip Zielasko/Benedikt Hertel and Latvia's Davis Kaufmanis/Ivo Kleinbergs. ©RWH2020
