St. Moritz (RWH) Gregor Stähli (SUI) will be the new managing director of the Olympia Bobrun St. Moritz-Celerina for the coming 2021/2022 season. This was announced in a press release of the operating commission of the natural ice track. The 53-year-old Gregor Stähli, Skeleton World Champion in 1994, 2007 and 2009 and Olympic bronze medallist in 2002 and 2006, will succeed Damian Gianola in St. Moritz.
In the Olympic season, St. Moritz will be the venue for the final of the BMW IBSF World Cup in January 2022, which will also count as the European Championships. The IBSF Para-Sport World Cup and the Para-Sport European Championships will also be held at the Olympic Bobrun in February. In 2023, the BMW IBSF Bobsleigh + Skeleton World Championships will be held in St. Moritz. ©RWH2021
