Lausanne (IBSF) Norwegian Anders Huuse was named Honorary Member of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF during the 2021 Congress held on September 17.

Anders Huuse is a Norwegian business man who joined the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation in 1993 when the Congress appointed him as Attaché of the Olympic Winter Games Lillehammer 1994.

He then has been supporting and assisting the International Federation in various functions.

From 1995 until 1998 he also served as the President of the Norwegian Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (NABSF).

Between 1998 and 2021, Anders Huuse has been leading the IBSF Audit Committee. „In that capacity he helped to shape the IBSF in a tremendous way by supporting the modernization of the Federation´s structure. His experience allowed the IBSF to initiate a Full Review of its accounts for the third consecutive year. His certain calmness combined with his incredible knowledge of not only business matters but specifically sports federations processes has given us the necessary confidence to take the important step to bring our federation to the excellent level we have today. We are now prepared to slide into the next century thanks to Anders´commitment and professionality“, IBSF President Ivo Ferriani states.
