IBSF National Federations to nominate candidates for Athletes Committee

Lausanne (RWH) The national member federations of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF can nominate candidates for the IBSF Athletes Advisory Committee as of now and until November 9.

There are seven positions on the AC up for election:

1. One athlete, active or retired, from Men’s Bobsleigh;
2. One athlete, active or retired, from Women’s Bobsleigh;
3. One athlete, active or retired, from Men’s Skeleton;
4. One athlete, active or retired, from Women’s Skeleton;
5. One athlete, active or retired, from the Para disciplines;
6. One retired athlete from any of the bobsleigh disciplines, who will be the Co-Chairperson of the AC-Bobsleigh;
7. One retired athlete from any of the skeleton disciplines, who will be the Co-Chairperson of the AC-Skeleton.

The IBSF will publish a list of the candidates by 11 November 2022. The election will be run anonymously via the well-known online platform SurveyMonkey in the period of January 16th till January 20th, 2023. Eligible to vote are all athletes who competed in the season 2021/22 and have an IBSF license for the season 2022/23. Athletes are able to vote for the Co-Chairperson and both the male and female representatives of their sport, only.
