Lausanne (RWH) The International Olympic Committee IOC thanked the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation for the IBSF's contribution to the staging of the Winter Games with an original torch from the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Ser Miang Ng, First Vice-President of the IOC, handed over the torch to IBSF President Ivo Ferriani at the General Assembly of the Association of International Olympic Wintersports Federations (AIOWF).
"Our thanks go to the IOC and its staff and also to the Beijing Winter Olympic Games Organising Committee," said Ivo Ferriani. "It was an outstanding achievement to hold the Winter Games as planned and with precision and quality under the circumstances of the pandemic."
