Monobob athlete Agnese Campeol in PyeongChang with best IBSF result for Thailand

PyeongChang (RWH) At the PyeongChang (KOR) sliding track, venue of the Olympic Winter Games 2018 and of the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games, young bobsleigh and skeleton athletes competed in the second YOG qualification event in the 2022-2023 season. The most successful nation with three victories in eight races: Denmark!

  • Women’s Monobob: Denmark’s Maja Voigt remains unbeaten with victories number three and four.
  • Agnese Campeol from Thailand finished second to celebrate the bese ever result for an athlete from Thailand.
  • Men’s Monobob: SO Jaehwan from Korea celebrates two victories for the host nation
  • Florin-Dicu Mihai (ROU) and Julian Klein (GER) finish second and third in both races.
  • Kittamet Palakai from Thailand just misses the first IBSF medal for a male athlete from Thailand in fourth.
  • Women’s Skeleton: Nanna Johansen (DEN) with her first ever victory.
  • German Maria Votz winner of the forst race in PyeongChang.
  • Men’s Skeleton: Latvian Emils Indriksons wins both races ahead of teammate Davis Valdovskis.
  • German teammates Emil Schäfer and Vinzenz Rosenberg celebrate third places.
  • The third OMEGA Youth Series competition will take place on March 14 and 15 in Lake Placid (USA).
