Großgmain (RWH) The last days from April 20 to 26 for the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF) were dominated by the 2023 committee meetings – in person in the IBSF Großgmain headquarter for the first time since 2019. The Development Committee kicked-off the meeting week on April 20, followed by Skeleton Sport and Material Committees (April 21 – 23) and the Bobsleigh Material and Sport Committees (April 24-26).
The committee members discussed, amongst others, current topics, suggestions and more than 100 rule change proposals in preparation for the next IBSF Executive Committee meeting.
It’s the first time the IBSF committees met in the current composition as the members were newly appointed by the IBSF Executive Committee for the period until 2026 following the 2022 IBSF Congress in July. ©RWH2023
