Riesa (RWH)  Three-times world champion Romy Logsch of Germany has ended her career as a bobsleigh push athlete after protracted problems from an injury, the 30-year-old has reported on the German Bobsleigh, Luge and Skeleton Federation (BSD) website.

A former discus thrower, Logsch was picked by Olympic Champion Sandra Kiriasis to push her bobsleigh in the 2006/2007 season, and won the World Championships in her first season. The duo repeated their victory a year later. Logsch went on to win the World Championships a third time in 2011, this time with Cathleen Martini at the helm.
