Moscow (RWH) Olympic Champion Alexey Voevoda from Russia ends his career in bobsleigh . That was announced by the Russian Bobsleigh Federation. The 35-years-old athlete plans to return to professional armwrestling and to maintain educational and political activity.
Breakman Alexey Voevoda became a legend of Russian bobsleigh. He celebrated Olympic Gold in two-man and four-man bob at the Sochi Winter Games 2014 with pilot Alexander Zubkov. At the Torino Winter Games 2006 he won Olympic silver in four-man bob, 2010 in Vancouver it was bronze in two-man. Alexey Voevoda also won the 2011 World Championships title and two European Championships titles (2008 and 2011) in two-man bob. He made a huge contribution to the promotion of bobsleigh in Russia. @RWH2015
