Lake Placid (RWH) Local victory: bob pilot Jamie Greubel Poser from the USA has won her second victory of the season in the BMW IBSF World Cup in Lake Placid (USA). Following a promising start to the season with a win in Winterberg, and a third place in Altenberg and Königssee, the 2014 Olympic bronze medallist and her brakewoman Cherrelle Garrett pushed Olympic Champion Kaillie Humphries and Melissa Lotholz (CAN) down to second, 0.43 seconds back. The Austrian duo of Christina Hengster/Sanne Dekker came in third 0.82 seconds back, their second podium placing of the 2015/2016 World Cup winter.
After the first half of the BMW IBSF World Cup season and four of eight races, the overall winner of the 2014 World Cup, Kaillie Humphries of Canada, heads the overall standings with 860 points, just ten points ahead of Jamie Greubel Poser with 850. Elfje Willemsen of Belgium, who came fourth in Lake Placid, is overall third with 788 points.
