Christina Hengster second in Park City ahead of Jamie Greubel Poser
Park City (RWH) Olympic Champion Kaillie Humphries of Canada has won the BMW IBSF World Cup in Park City (USA) in the women’s bobsleigh. Pushed by Melissa Lotholz, the two-times World Champion (2012 and 2013) came in 0.16 seconds ahead of Christina Hengster/Sanne Dekker of Austria, whose second place was their best World Cup result to date. After the first of the two runs in Park City, Christina Hengster was in the lead – for the first time in her career. Olympic bronze medallist Jamie Greubel Poser of the USA and her brakewoman Lauren Gibbs came third 0.47 seconds behind, cheered on by a home crowd.
After five of eight races in the BMW IBSF World Cup 2015/2016, the overall standings are headed by the 2014 overall winner, Kaillie Humphries (1085 points). Jamie Greubel Poser is hot on her heels with 1050 points, and Christina Hengster is overall third with 986 points.
