Mamaia (RWH) Russian bobsleigh pilots Nadezhda Sergeeva in womens bob and Alexey Stulnev in four man bob are the 2016 IBSF Push World Champions.
Nadezhda Sergeeva and brakewoman Yulia Shokshueva won the women‘s bobsleigh competition in Mamaia, a famous holiday resort at the Romanian Black Sea coast. Andreea Grecu/Olivia Vild from host nation Romania claimed World Championships silver ahead of Germany’s Laura Nolte/Lena Zelichowski.
New Push World Champion in Four Man Bob is the Russian team with pilot Alexey Stulnev and push athletes Maxim Mokrousov, Vasiliy Kondratenko and Roman Koshelev. The silver medal went to Two Man Bob Push World Champion Dominik Dvorak (CZE) with David Egydy, Jakub Nosek and Jan Sindelar. Brazilians Edson Bindilatti/Denis Parreira/Odirlei Pessoni/Rafael Souza claimed bronze.
