Königssee (RWH) Bobsleigh pilot Elana Meyers Taylor (USA) are on course for World Championship gold at half-time in the BMW IBSF World Championships 2017 at Königssee (GER). The 2015 World Champion Elana Meyers Taylor with brakewoman Kehri Jones after two of four heats have a tight lead of 0,02 seconds over Olympic Champion Kaillie Humphries with Melissa Lotholz (CAN). Half time third is US duo Jamie Greubel Poser/Aja Evans (0,05 seonds back).
Local stars Mariama Jamanka with defending World Champion brakewoman Annika Drazek (GER) is currently on fourth place, 0,24 seconds behind the leader. Stephanie Schneier/Lisa Marie Buckwitz (GER) are 8th.
