Lede (RWH) Bobsleigh pilot Lien de Decker from Belgium takes a break from bobsleigh. As the 23-years-old announced in her blog, she wants to focus on her studies and thesis in criminology.
Lien de Decker is part of the Belgian bobsleigh team since 2012, first as brakewoman, later as pilot. She got several top-ten rankings in Europe Cup, finished eighth at 2015 and 2016 Junior World Championships and 18th at the 2016 BMW IBSF World Championships. Lien de Decker started in the second half of BMW IBSF World Cup 2016/2017. In Winterberg (GER) she finished 17th and was eleventh at the European Championships. ©RWH2017
