Calgary (RWH) Annija Krumina from Latvia is the first woman to win a Para-Bobsleigh World Cup of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation IBSF.
At the first station of IBSF Para-Bobsleigh World Cup 2017/2018 in Calgary (CAN), the 22-years-old at the second race clocked the best time ahead of teammate Alvils Brants (LAT) and Jason Sturm (USA), who won the first World Cup race the day before.
The IBSF Para-Sports disciplines are mixed-gender. Three women and nine men from seven nations competed at the World Cup opening in Calgary
The IBSF Para-Sport World Cup continues on December 1-2 in Lake Placid (USA). A total of ten races are scheduled for the 2017/2018 season. ©RWH2017
