Oberhof (RWH) With two victories in Oberhof (GER), Briton Corie Mapp extended his lead in overall ranking of IBSF Para Bobsleigh World Cup 2017/2018.
Mapp won the seventh and eighth World Cup race in 2017/2018 winter. At first, he banned European Champion Alvils Brants (LAT) and Christ Rasmussen from USA to rank two and three, respectively. In the next Oberhof race, Austrias Andreas Kapfinger and defending World Cup champion Lonnie Bissonnette (CAN) finished second and third.
In the overall ranking of IBSF Para Bobsleigh World Cup 2017/2018, Corie Mapp with now 872 points extended his lead to 68 points ahead of Alvils Brants (LAT) and Lonnie Bissonnette (CAN), who follow with 804 points each.
For IBSF Para Bobsleigh World Cup 2017/2018, a total of ten races are scheduled. The race series ends on February 1+2, 2018 in St, Moritz (SUI). Highlight of the season for the IBSF Para Sport athletes will be the World Championships scheduled for March 10+11 in Lillehammer (NOR). ©RWH2018
