Stuttgart (RWH) Junior World Champion Florian Bauer joins the team of 4-man bobsleigh World Champion Johannes Lochner (GER) for the 2018/2019 season. He will Join pilot Lochner and his push athletes Christopher Weber, Christian Rasp, Marc Rademacher and Gregor Bermbach.

The 24 years old Florian Bauer won 2018 Junior World Championships gold in 4-man bobsleigh with pilot Pablo Nolte. With his pilot, he also finished second overall in IBSF Europe Cup 2017/2018 (2-man bobsleigh) and won the silver medal in the Junior European Championships ranking.

Johannes Lochner won a joint 4-man bobsleigh gold with teammate Francesco Friedrich at the 2017 BMW IBSF World Championships at Königssee. In the 2017/2018 winter, the Lochner 4-man team won European Championships gold as well as the Overall BMW IBSF World Cup. At the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang (KOR), Johannes Locher finished fifth (2-man bobsleigh) and eighth (4-man bobsleigh). ©RWH2018
